Cutline
Cutline is a magazine style WordPress theme that is widget-ready, simple and beautifully designed by Chris Pearson. Poles Apart Design uses Cutline as the basis for this website. Cutline also has a cool rotating image header. Every time the page is reloaded or you go to another page, the image changes. In addition, there are two versions: 3-column split (main column in the middle and two sidebars on either side) and 3-column right (main column on the left and two sidebars on the right). Also, Cutline has its own support website unlike most other WordPress themes. It’s a great theme. We love it here at Poles Apart Design…obviously! The Morning After
The Morning After is a great 3 column magazine style theme. The highlighted featured article, asides and ability for associating images/thumbnails with recent posts are our favorite elements of this WordPress theme. Revolution
Revolution is a truly inspiring WordPress theme. Though, unlike most WordPress themes, you have to pay for it, it’s well worth it if you’re serious about blogging and creating an online presence worthy of your time and effort. Revolution “is a widget-ready, customizable theme that is an ideal solution for online magazines, online newspapers, and other websites that wish to use WordPress as a content management system.” The fee runs from $60 to $250 depending on your use. The reason we at Poles Apart Design like this theme so much is that it truly gives you a sense of the power of WordPress as more than just a blogging platform. Simple & Clean
Mental Disorder
Mental Disorder is a simple and elegant theme with a bit of an edge and created by Razvan Teodorescu. The header image is awesome. The right sidebar has hide and show JavaScript menus which saves your sidebar from clutter. And, if you hover over the header image, the left navigation links and any outside links, the “title” pops up in a bright red box with white lettering and border. It’s one of our favorite’s because it’s so simple and though perfect the way it is, it’s highly customizable. Simpla

Brajeshwar
Brajeshwar is simple theme that’s highly customizable and has a PHP contact form already in place. One of our projects, Flmtops.com was based on this theme. We love the highlighted “current” blog post at the top especially. Elegant
Vertigo
Vertigo is a classy WordPress theme with a full width header and a four column footer that catches your site visitors attention. Besides the truly beautiful design, what we find notable as well is the design of the comments area on the single post pages. The square word bubbles are a great and simple touch. Hemingway
Hemingway is one of the most popular, elegant and truly beautiful WordPress themes out there today. Many bloggers use it. One of our projects, Scenemablog.com, is based on this theme. It’s also widget friendly and optimized for non-geeks who don’t want to fuss with code. It’s customizable fonts, header, navigation, sidebars (widgets) and captions make this blog a no-brainer and fun theme to get to know WordPress and get to blogging! Dreamy is one of the cutest, simplest and still sophisticated themes out there. It’s highly styled, fun and has a simple horizontal navigation bar at the top and a sidebar. We love it! Alexified
Alexified is one of those rare 3 column themes that look small and has a unique layout that stands out. The designs fun, professional and clean. Bloxpress2
Bloxpress2 we really like Blogxpress because of it’s cool extra: Collapsible blog posts, one click scroll buttons to navigate up and down the page, and an awesome drag and drop “blockmenu” which is a type of on-screen widget that lets you add such elements as archives and categories to the blog’s layout by simply dragging and dropping.
